|
so i was listening to this radio program.
and they got off topic and were talking about marketing.
and how much a name is worth to someone.
and by that, i mean a list of names for marketers.
so one of they guys on the radio says that the "video professor"
thing is a total scam.
he said that the commercial claims:
"if youre not happy ill send you ten dollars"
and thats a red flag, he claims
because anyone offering to send you money back is up to something.
so i go onto the video professor website
down at the bottom is a tiny link to their "private policy"
i click it..
and jesus, buying those damn videos is like selling your first born.
i think it said stuff like they reserved the right to give your personal
information to "partners" including credit card information.
i mean.. jesus christ.
anyways.
in summary DO NOT BUY VIDEO PROFESSOR.

and its not unusual for me to take two or more.

its really nice not being forced to be creative
and im drawing again.

well im happy. and pissed at the same time.
im happy because im getting this awesome limited edition figure.
its a repaint of the anakin skywalker figure.
but its got yellow sith eyes and what not. for badassness.
the figure was limited to 6000 figures.
and i didn't order mine in time.. (this was like 6 months ago)
so i got put on the "waitlist"
well apparently im off the waitlist and one is shipping to me now.
which is great, but now i dont have any money.
i had plenty of money 6 months ago.. now i dont.
and this thing was charged on my card and
shipped before i even knew about it...
grr.
it didn't over draft me or anything.. but i could have.
ill have more to say when it gets here.

my new camera.
the samsung nv7 ops.
well it might not be my camera yet..
but maybe soon-ish.
whenever i can afford it or sucker someone to buy it for me
christmas, birthday. maybe.
i have to admit.
im mostly drawn to the camera because of its cool looks.
but its also a very good camera.
7x zoom lens.
fancy image stabilization
7 megapixels
camcorder functionality with decent image quality.
and its super retro cool.

i was watching this thing online about snakes on a plane.
some of the people that went to see it brought rubber snakes.
then threw them at people during the movie.
i kind of want to go see it now, just so i can do that.

i saw the most awesome thing today.
while driving there was a truck in front of me.
he had some custom lettering done on the back of his truck
on the very top it said:
"the clintons may think they are gods, but they are not!"
below it to the right it then continued:
"murder is a sin, and abortion is murder. this is the law of god"
then on the bumper it said something like
"all life is precious, black white red and yellow"
now that was all pretty good in and of it self.
but the best was the image on the left side of the back window.
it was of an angel dropping bill clinton into hell fire/lava
it might be a little hard to make out.
but if you look on the left you can see an angel with its wings
and an upside down bill clinton dropping into fire.
the fire in the picture looks like a little line under the figures.

so i got this new phone.
and i wanted something new and shinny to put on it.
so i created some new screensavers.
these are based on art work from threadless.
so all artistic credit goes to who ever.
im just learning how to make animated gif's..
so they kind of suck.

p.s. speaking of excelsior!, i watched "who wants to be a superhero the other night, and afterward there was this new show called "dark place". its weird, its funny and its british. i dont want to ruin it for anyone so just watch it next thursday at 10 pm on the scifi channel.

pictures of my new v3i vs. my old plain jane v3.
the v3i is pretty kick ass. the color is a nice gun metal grey.
the mega pixel camera aint bad.
and ive yet to use the itunes player yet (i dont have a memory card)
the screen and key pad are alot brighter too.
oh, and the menus are twice as fast as the old one, which were slow.

i just saw a preview for "world trade center".. THE MOVIE!
and there is a clip showing the shadow of the plane..
going over top a poster for the movie ZOOLANDER.
i thought that was hilarious.
(would it be inappropriate to bust out laughing in a theater?)
anyways. i dont know if the movie is good or not..
but what if it becomes a classic, something that people watch forever.
our generations tora tora maybe.
and what if 50 yrs from now, some kid is watching this movie in class.
for some project or something.
does anyone else see the humor?
im having trouble describing it.

i got my new phone today.
yah!
its a motorola razr v3i
its pretty similar to the old razr, but:
its has itunes
it has a mega pixel camera
a memory card slot
and a shinny new outside
the color of it is "quarts silver"
which is the gay term for gun metal
the phone isn't even out in the u.s.
so im going to be the only dork on the block with one.
yep. dork i am.

..so shes 7 months pregnant.

but her hair is dyed
(shes got some roots, but not 7 months worth)
